My client in the Automotive industry is seeking to employ a Plant Engineer to join their company
Duties include:
- Equipment Maintenance and Reliability: Develop and execute preventive maintenance programs, conduct regular inspections, and collaborate with maintenance teams to troubleshoot equipment failures.
- Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvement, analyse production processes, and implement best practices to enhance productivity and quality.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, conduct risk assessments, and lead safety training sessions to promote a culture of safety.
Project Management: Lead engineering projects related to plant expansion, upgrades, or modifications, ensuring timely completion within budget and quality standards. - All GMR (2) responsibilities including root cause analyses and investigation of incidents.
Ensure the achievement of the overall objectives of manufacturing services and maintenance. - Project management including the commissioning of new equipment.
- Preparation and management of annual budgets.
Minimum Requirements:
- Education: Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering
- Industry Experience: Automotive industry experience is a top priority.
- Maintenance engineering experience covering all engineering disciplines (Electrical/Mechanical/Instrumentation)
- Working Experience: 6 years and above in plant engineering-related roles
- Certifications: Government Certificate of Competency (Factories) – Electrical
- Previous GMR (2) Appointment and Responsibility
