Amazon Global Supply Chain and Transportation Procurement (GSCTP) is seeking a Procurement Manager overseeing Vendor Sourcing and Management responsibilities. This role will focus on leading vendor negotiations, developing consistent negotiation methodology, and ensuring alignment with internal stakeholder teams.
A successful candidate will be able to deliver on improved financial results, delivery performance, capacity and sustainability efforts. This individual will be expected to manage multiple vendors concurrently and directly, working with a team that contributes significantly to overall transportation and supply chain strategy. Internal and external relationship management is paramount, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
In this role you will be responsible for delivering successful negotiations at scale ($50MM or more in total spend), working with senior leadership of external vendors and providing thought-leadership within procurement and several Amazon stakeholder teams.

- Bachelor's degree
- Knowledge of procurement/commercial strategy definition and implementation (strong commercial acumen).
- Excellent written skills with the experience and capability to create and present documentation to senior executives. Excellent command of the English language
- High level of numeracy, analytical and problem solving skills. Financials understanding (ability to develop should-cost models, P&L / Balance sheet non-finance expert understandings)
- Excellent negotiation skills with knowledge of contract law
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Master's degree.
- Experience in wider supply chain or operations or logistics
- Fluent in another language is a plus
- Extensive professional experience in business development, partner development, procurement, sales or marketing.
- Experienced in sophisticated negotiations involving senior leaders of partner organization
