An opportunity for a Managing Quantity Surveyor to work on a civil engineering framework at Heathrow airport has become available.
The company are a main contractor with an impressive portfolio of civils and infrastructure projects across London and the South East of England, they have a long history of working in the aviation sector and the current schemes at Heathrow vary from £1M-£5 in value. The current framework runs until 2030.
This role is being offered on ahybrid working basis.
The Role- Reporting to the Commercial Manager the Managing Quantity Surveyor's responsibilities will include::
- Building an excellent relationship with the client and stakeholders to deliver projects
- Maintain and enhance cost reporting tools to manage site costs
- Manage cash flow in line with monthly cost variation reporting
- Ensure adherence to change control process
- Provide leadership andsupportto a commercial / QS team of five
- Provide commercial support and advise to Project Managers and Planners
- Carry out monthly reporting and assist with monthly project CVR's and forecasts.
Experience Required- Suitable applicants will be educated to BSc Quantity Surveying / Commercial Managment and will be able to demonstrate experience working at Senior QS or Managing QS level.
- Experience working on civil engineering and or infrastructure projects under NEC terms is essential.
