Job Profile
As the successful CNC Machinist, you will experience working for a company that truly believes in its workforce, providing an excellent working environment, ensuring the team are well looked after and offer ongoing support and development, with exceptional high staff retention.
Your main function will be to produce high-end, high-value parts and components by Programming Setting and Operating state-of-the-art CNC Lathes with Driven / Live tooling (MillTurn machines)
Duties:
- Create / write programs on the CNC Lathes (MillTurn Mazaks with Driven / Live Tooling), working from engineering drawings.
- Make edits to existing programs when needed, set up and operate the CNC Machines.
- Self-inspect own work when required.
Skills & Attributes:
- Previous experience as a skilled CNC Machinist, able to Program, Set and Operate CNC Lathes with Driven / Live tooling is a must.
- CNC MillTurn experience (as mentioned above), with experience working on Mazak machines is preferred.
- Mazak / Fanuc experience.
Hours of Work:
- 8am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday
- Flexible start times available (able to start and finish earlier if needed).
- £17.00 to £20.00 p/hr+ (negotiable, depending on experience)
