Do you have experience of managing small teams and HR projects? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for an HRBP or HR Manager to join us for a 12-month contract to cover maternity leave.You will obviously be experienced in all aspects of operational HR, covering the full life-cycle of an employee and across a wide variety of ER topics, but more importantly you will also have good experience of employee engagement activity. Over the next 12 months (and beyond) we are transforming our business to support our growth strategy. We are modernising our systems and processes, reviewing how we position ourselves in the market and ensuring our organisation design is fit for the future, all of which will have an impact on employee behaviour and culture. We recognise that change is not always easy; therefore, we are looking for someone with experience in navigating change programmes for employees. You’ll work closely with our internal communications, project teams and wider business to ensure employees are engaged, enabled and effective throughout the change period.We are a small team who deliver a lot for our 200 employees. You will be overseeing 2 People & Culture Advisors and an Assistant and will be supported by a small but very effective Organisation Development Team. We are currently based in Bearsden but have a very flexible approach to where we work, with most employees splitting their time between working at home and working in the office. We also have many employees with flexible work patterns, including 9-day fortnight. Basically, we’re more focussed on the output – if our customers are getting the right service (internal and external customer) and our business objectives are progressing at pace then that’s more important to us than where you are sitting.
