Job Title: Teacher of Religious Studies
Contract Type: Permanent/Full-time
Hours: Full time (4 days per week would be considered)
anzuk have an exciting opportunity to join a Secondary School in Woking as a Religious Studies Teacher from September 2024!
The school are looking for an energetic, creative teacher to teach KS3 & KS4 Religious Studies, who has a strong passion for delivering the Religious syllabus.
Earn as you learn: This role is open to educators who are wanting to become a teacher and gain their QTS whilst teaching. The school will support you to achieve QTS.
As a Religious Studies Teacher, you will: - Teach Religious Studies at KS3 & KS4
- Be innovative and have a well reasoned educational philosophy in line with the academy's values and ethos
- Participate in the development of schemes of work, material and syllabuses of the subject, attending Department meetings when required
- Develop, deliver and promote subject-specific courses in the school curriculum
- Create positive and enriching learning environments
- TLRs are available for those looking to take on more responsibilities
Application requirements of an Religious Studies Teacher: - Hold an Enhanced Child workforce DBS with an update service subscription, or be willing to apply for one through anuzk
- Have a full, updated CV outlining employment covering the last two years - any gaps in employment must be accounted for
- Hold the appropriate degree, UK QTS or equivalent, and a valid right to work in the UK (unfortunately if you are requiring sponsorship this role would not be suitable)
- You will need to be prepared to complete a full application form for this role
Salary: £31,350 - £47,839 (Fringe MPS)
