Short DescriptionThe activities of the medical physics group have steadily expanded on multiple fronts: clinical, educational, and research. At this point, it would be beneficial to have a clinical lead position, comparable to the ones we have or are planning for education and research, devoted to supervising (or sharing supervision of) clinical areas such as analytics, dosimetry, and clinical physics.
Clinical/Educational Responsibilities |
Manage dosimetry service (w/ chief dosimetrist directly reporting) |
Manage rad onc IST (w/ rad onc IT administrator directly reporting) including serving as technical lead and liaison on departmental projects involving IT and development of analytics tools. |
Working with the clinical director, chief dosimetrist, and chief therapist, determine clinical implementation and improvement priorities, and, working with the Chief Medical Physicist and education and research leads, determine reports’ assignments for these projects and oversee them. |
