Gi Group are currently recruiting for Housekeeping Assistants to start at King's Mill Hospital in Sutton-in-Ashfield. This is a central location with great transport links from local areas, the bus stops right outside!
This is a night shift position from 8pm - 6am.
Pay rate: 11.44, with an uplift to 11.94 between 10pm & 6am
Must be flexible to work any 4 days out of 7. Overtime available.
The Housekeeping Assistant role involves:
Keeping the wards to a clinical level of cleanliness
High and low dusting, mopping, wiping and scrubbing surfaces, cleaning of wards, side rooms, toilets, showers, infected and public areas.
Keeping the hospital presentable and safe for visitors by following the required policies and procedures
Record all information as required to ensure adherence to standards
Clearing down ward areas and wash up dirty dishes ensuring that kitchen is fully prepared for next service
Communicating and dealing with Kings Mill Hospital patients, visitors and staff in a manner which reflects the high standard of care and commitment provided by the Trust.

The ideal Housekeeping Assistant:
Has cleaning experience
Must be able to work under pressure
Have excellent communication skills both written and oral
Has a current DBS check - this is not essential as we can process one for you.
