Commercial Gas Engineer sought, Plymouth / South-west UK. BM Recruit are proud to be working alongside a progressive Building Services Contractor looking to add a Commercial Gas Engineer to their Plymouth based team due to an increase in workload within their services team. You will be joining a growing maintenance division offering immediate opportunities for onward career progression!
You will be joining a privately owned and operated business with several hubs across the South west of the UK. You will support in the delivery of commercial PPMs and reactive works with the occasional installation. The business work across the South west, from Bridgwater down into Cornwall and offer door to door travel.
Day to day,
As Commercial Gas Engineer you will responsible for planning and carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs to Commercial / Industrial boilers and completing inspection and gas safety check certificates on varied estates, from Education facilities to MoD, Police, Retail, and various further not to include domestic residence.
You will require a good working attitude and quality workmanship, personality and willingness to go the extra mile
You will be working as part of a team as well as independently so will need to be forward thinking with a proactive approach and a positive attitude.
What youll need to succeed,
Core plumbing qualification
Commercial gas tickets to include COCN1 or CODNCO1
A proven history of delivering PPM and reactive maintenance with installation work in addition
Full UK driving licence
Happy to undertake a DBS clearance with the potential of further clearance dependant on contracts (to include police checks etc)
In return, we are offering hourly paid on a 45 hour week, over time there on (Up to £43,000 + per annum). In addition, a competitive package to include transport, and door to door travel. All whilst joining a progressive business offering onward development and progression.
