Job Advertisement: Business Administrator - Children Services Music and Learning Support
Location: Penrith
Hourly rate: Between £13.60- £13.90 per hour
About Us:
We are looking for a dedicated Business Administrator to join our team and support our mission of enhancing the educational experiences of children through comprehensive music services and learning support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Music Team Support: Assist the Music Team to ensure the Music Service operations align with management requirements, enabling smooth and efficient delivery of music education and services.
- Data Management: Collaborate with the Management Team and Business Coordinator to compile, analyse, and deliver data reports. Ensure data accuracy and readiness for internal and external monitoring, including Department for Education (DfE) data returns.
- Instrument Storage: Support the sourcing and securing of space for instrument stock in Westmorland and Furness, ensuring all musical instruments are stored properly and efficiently.
- Website Management: Lead the decommissioning of legacy websites and reformulate the new website for the Westmorland and Furness Music Service and the Music Hub, ensuring a seamless transition and improved online presence.
- Network Drives Transition: Assist in decommissioning legacy network drives and facilitate the setup of new folders in the agreed structure for transfer to Share Point. Provide guidance and support to colleagues who may be reluctant about this change.
- Service Offer and Customer Relations: Assist with the Service Offer to Schools and securing Buy Back over June and July, fostering strong customer relationships and ensuring school's needs are met.
- Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Learning Support Services (LSS) and School Development team, ensuring all operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar administrative role, preferably within educational or music services.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in data management and analysis.
- Experience with website management and digital transitions.
- Familiarity with Share Point and network drive setups.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and handle resistance to change.
