We are seeking a committed and experienced SEN Teacher to join our specialist school in Reading. Our school is dedicated to providing exceptional education and support to students with a range of special educational needs, and we are looking for a teacher who shares our commitment to inclusive and individualized education.
About the Role:
As an SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, tailored education to students with diverse needs. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to create and implement the Childs educational care plans that address each student's unique learning requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the individual needs of students with SEN
- Develop and implement ECPs in collaboration with other educators, therapists, and parents
- Assess and monitor student progress, adapting teaching strategies as necessary
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to engage and motivate students
- Support the social and emotional development of students
- Communicate effectively with parents, caregivers, and other professionals
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in SEN teaching
- In-depth knowledge of various special educational needs and effective teaching strategies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Relevant qualifications or training in special education are highly desirable.
