Ty Aberdafen is seeking a dynamic and experienced Principal Psychologist to join our team in Llanelli. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to lead psychological services within our facility and contribute to the development of innovative care strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the psychological services team.
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide expert psychological interventions and therapies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
- Supervise and mentor junior psychologists and trainees.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of service policies and procedures.
- Engage in clinical research and promote evidence-based practices within the team.
- Ensure compliance with professional and ethical standards.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Doctorate in Clinical or Counseling Psychology (or equivalent).
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Extensive experience in a clinical setting, with a track record of leadership roles.
- Strong clinical skills in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
