This is a permanent role based in a remote area of Scotland.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee all aspects of the production process, from fermentation to maturation and filtration, ensuring quality and consistency in every batch.Lead a team, coordinating activities and ensuring production schedules are met.Develop and execute process improvements to enhance efficiency and product quality.Maintain detailed documentation, analysing data to inform operational decisions.Promote and enforce high standards of health, safety, and hygiene within the team.Facilitate effective communication between the production team and wider external departments.Conduct training sessions and mentor junior colleagues, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.Monitor stock levels and manage inventory to align with production schedules.Engage in professional development opportunities to stay at the forefront of brewing techniques and industry trends.What we're looking for?University degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Biology, Brewing & Distilling, or a related field is advantageous. However, substantial hands-on brewing experience will also be considered.Minimum of two years’ experience in a brewing role, with leadership experience preferred.Deep passion for beer and a commitment to producing the highest quality products.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically about production operations.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to leadership.Willingness to work shift patterns, rotating between days and nights.Salary: Competitive salary package + BenefitsPlease contact Kieron Hall today for further information.
