Position has become available for an Accountant in Potchefstroom.

Salary R20 000- R28 000 (dependant on experience)

Fully bilingual: Afrikaans & English

Requirements

Completed Bcom Degree in Accounting
3+ years experience in an accounting firm
Ability to perform full accounting function
Accuracy with all transactions handled
Accuracy with financial records
Adhere to timelines of financial reporting
Ensure all financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements are prepared and submitted on time
Compliance with financial regulations, including submissions of VAT returns, PAYE, and other statutory obligations
Income Tax, VAT & PAYE
Preparation of financial statements in line with IFRS for SMEs
Preparation of AFS, Income statements, balance sheets & cash flow statements
Process & reconcile daily bank transactions
Manage accounts payable & receivable, including invoicing and payment processing
Assist in preparation of budgets & financial forecasts
Monitor & report on financial performance and provide insights for decision-making
Collaborate with auditors.
