Purpose of the role

To lead sales efforts in a newly established representative office in Johannesburg, South Africa. This hands-on role blends sales leadership, team development, and digital marketing, requiring a combination of field-based activities and a keen understanding of online growth drivers.

Your responsibility

Sales Strategy & Execution:

Develop and execute a localized sales plan to grow the beauty community.
Implement a local sales strategy tailored to the market’s size and potential.
Lead recruitment, training, and team management, ensuring they have the tools for success.
Identify new business opportunities to drive revenue growth, including partnerships and digital channels.
Build and nurture relationships with sales leaders, guiding them through business planning and leadership development.
Organize regular online and offline training sessions for consultants, focusing on product knowledge, wellness, and digital selling skills.
Support top-performing leaders in expanding their networks by conducting regular advisory sessions for their business growth and leveraging social media and other digital platforms.
Coordinate and support execution of beauty-related events and initiatives, both online and offline, designed to engage and inspire members of the company’s beauty community.

Market Analysis & Reporting:

Analyze sales performance and market trends, preparing detailed reports to forecast sales and recommend strategies for improvement.
Stay up-to-date on market trends, competitor strategies, and new digital technologies to ensure ongoing innovation.

What are we looking for?

Minimum five years of experience in sales management, preferably in the direct selling or cosmetics industry.
Demonstrated experience in digital marketing and e-commerce strategies.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a traditional or digital sales environment.
Strong leadership, team-building, and interpersonal communication skills.
Proficient in using CRM tools and sales analytics software.
Ability to work independently, particularly in developing and emerging markets.
Experience working with cross-functional teams, including marketing, IT, and digital support.
Familiarity with digital marketing best practices and online sales strategies.
