We are looking for creative & forward-thinking Occupational Therapists to join us in the MIS Mid team covering Ashfield & Mansfield.

In many ways this is a non-traditional, broad-spectrum role for enthusiastic Occupational Therapists with endless opportunities to work with people creatively, putting them at the very heart of everything we do. We aim to stay with a person from their initial enquiry through their journey of reablement/enablement and we are proud to be a therapy led service.

We will signpost and give advice in a timely way to those that need it and have a repertoire of in-service assets to draw upon to achieve the best outcomes for those that need something more.
Our practice is focused on a strengths-based approach & using a conversational style to help people ascertain what a good life looks like to them and provide the help they feel they need.

We would like to hear from you whether you are an experienced Occupational Therapist or newly qualified and keen to learn.
You will work with people of all ages, across all disabilities and be free of some of the usual practice constraints.

To be successful, your values and creativity will be key. You will work in a multi-skilled and varied workforce in a fast paced, supportive team.
You will receive regular supervision both formally and informally from an Occupational Therapy Senior Practitioner and will be supported to attend training to progress your career and meet the HPC's CPD requirements. There will be opportunities to expand your knowledge and competencies, project work and service exploration based on your strengths and career aspirations. You must have excellent communication and IT skills. You must be good at motivating others and be able to support others through change.

You must hold a recognised Occupational Therapy qualification and be registered with the HCPC.

For Band B requirements you must have at least 2 years' experience as a qualified OT.
