Education And Qualifications

BCom Degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field
Matric or equivalent qualification recognized by the Department of Higher Education & Training

Skills And Experience

3-4 years' experience in a similar role handling Bank & Cashbook reconciliation
Experience in general balancing and reconciliation
Experience in bank settlement reconciliations
Extensive experience in Electronic Funds Transfers (EFT)
Interbank ATM - SASWITCH experience
Interbank POS - Debit Switch
Realtime Clearing
Experience and a good understanding of Visa and MasterCard
A thorough understanding of Visa, MasterCard, other Card Associations as well as BankServ Africa Rules, Service Level Agreements and Guidelines in respect of Financial Institutions and Industry participants as both Issuer and Acquiring Institutions - very advantageous
Back office and Reconciliation experience focusing on Interbank related Card Switching and Payment Services - advantageous
Extensive experience in and a thorough understanding of the Card Switching and Payments Processing - very advantageous
Experience in Dispute Management Systems will be advantageous
Banking experience advantageous
