Bluetree Group is a leading print manufacturing company dedicated to delivering high-quality print products and exceptional customer experiences. We have an exciting opportunity for a Production Planner to join our Production Control team.
Bluetree Group is a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with an ambitious and driven team. In this varied role, you will control the costs and flow of production by planning and scheduling the workload across multiple printing presses. We are looking for someone keen to learn about our printing processes, and who is excited about the prospect of making key commercial decisions daily, that maximise both sales and profit.

Shifts are on a rota covering Monday to Friday 6am - 10:30pm.
Basic salary of £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Role responsibilities

Planning the daily workload across litho and digital printing presses
Setting running lists and priorities to manage the flow of work to finishing teams
Actively check and manage progress and output
Control cost variance by managing material, ink and labour costs
Make commercial based decisions to achieve key KPIs
Maximise efficiencies through creating print layouts
Make improvements to processes to increase output and efficiency
Forecasting weekly volumes
Liaise with sales brands and production teams to agree deadlines

What skills and experience are we looking for?

Previous pre-press experience is desirable but not essential
Experience in a production planner role
Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
Able to make good commercial decisions
Strong analytical skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

The Company

Bluetree's combined office, production and training facilities are in Wath Upon Dearne, which is close to Sheffield, Rotherham, Barnsley, and Doncaster.
