We a family run business based in Paignton, specialising in high-quality meat products. We are currently seeking a skilled Night Butcher to cut and prepare meats for our customers. This role is essential in ensuring our food production unit remains clean, organised, and running smoothly.

Responsibilities Include:

Cutting and preparing different types of meat including beef, pork and poultry according to customer requirements and specifications.
Ensure the freshness and quality of meat products by inspecting them for any signs of spoilage or damage.
Cleaning and sanitising work areas and equipment
Picking and Packing meat products with care and precision
Assisting with other tasks as needed

Requirements:

Physical Fitness:Ability to stand for long periods, lift and move heavy items and perform repetitive tasks.
Previous Experience:Previous proven experience in a similar position. 2 Years (preferred)
Knowledge:Strong knowledge of different cuts of meat and the ability to prepare them accurately and efficiently.
Knife Skills:exceptional knife skills and the ability to use a variety of cutting and grinding equipment safely.
Flexibility:flexibility to work varying shifts including weekends and holidays.
Communication Skills:Strong communication and task management skills.
