Senior VFO Assistant Key Responsibilities:

Assist with bookkeeping and accounting tasks, such as purchasing invoices, sales invoices, bank reconciliation.
Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders
Prepare VAT return
Complete tax forms
Maintain relevant records
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
Streamline financial operations and processes to enhance efficiency
Support the VFO department and junior team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of projects
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
Maintain client relationships.
Balance sheet reconciliations.
Posting wages journals.
Adhering to deadlines each month.

Qualifications and essential requirements:

Qualified AAT within a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and leadership abilities, and proficiency with financial software and tools.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as Xero,QuickBooks,Sage
