About the role

As our Registered Mental Health Nurse, youll be responsible for all care,mental health and dementia-related nursing needs of our residents. Youll formulate, implement and regularly maintain electronic nursing care plans and will be very experienced at this. You'llprovide treatment, care and support to our residentswith mental healthand dementia. Youll supervise the delivery of care by the care team and will identify training and development needs. Your warm, supportive, and caring nature will help you build meaningful relationships with our residents and you will get to know everything about their likes and dislikes as well as their care and nursing needs.

Heres some other important things you need to know:

Speciality in mental health and dementia care (ideal but not essential)
You will need to have a valid registered NMC Pin
You will dispense and administer medication to residents as prescribed, accurately maintaining appropriate records
You will carry out stock control and ordering of residents prescribed medication and medical products
Youll need to understand and comply with all statutory and legal requirements that are relevant such as Health and Safety, COSHH, and all aspects of the care Standards Act.
