We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, well qualified and skilled English Teacher to join our welcoming, successful and growing school, starting in January 2025. This post is suitable for ECTs or experienced staff and we are open to discussion around part time considerations. Opening in 2016 to Year 7 and having welcomed our first Year 13s in September 2022, The Charter School East Dulwich is an oversubscribed, fully inclusive, diverse, mixed 11–18 comprehensive. Access for all to high quality Teaching and Learning is a priority, with our Year 11 and 13 cohorts excelling and achieving well above national average. Staff and senior leaders bring energy and motivation to the school to ensure standards of excellence, and a culture where all students and staff are given breadth of opportunity and are valued. We focus on a research based, impactful approach to school improvement.

What skills and experience we're looking for

Is a skilled, versatile and hardworking English teacher with a passion for delivering an excellent English provision to students across Years 7 to 13.
Consistently models excellent practice and has students' academic progress and personal development at the core of their professional motivation.
Wants an exciting opportunity to work in a vibrant, diverse and growing organisation.
Is keen to work collaboratively within the wider Communications Faculty team.
