Senior Project Manager for industry leading contract (UK travel required)

Your new role
As Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for all on-site operations and the successful delivery of the entire site programme, working towards the appropriate timeframe and ensuring that all works are completed within budget. You will be expected to be able to manage all on site resources and delegate responsibility based on the complexity of different parts of the project. This role will be mainly site based and will include 3 days of UK travel per week. From inception to completion, you will be expected to oversee the installation of both concrete flooring and specialist precast panels. Responsibilities will be as such but not limited to the following:
Attend client meetings as required and build strong working relationships to provide opportunities for future work.Provide sufficient financial forecasts for regional contracts on a monthly basis.Schedule projects in logical steps within the designated time
To meet deadlines.Strong technical background with the ability to contribute to the design and development of projects.Managing a sizeable construction project through design, planning, production and site. Inspect and review projects to ensure compliance with safety, program and costs.Prepare and review safety documentation including crane plans to ensure F10 compliance. Provide ongoing help, guidance and development of existing contract terms.
What you'll need to succeed The successful candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in a project management role or a similar level. Preferably you will be able to demonstrate previous experience of building precast structures and/or concrete flooring. The ability to use your initiative to overcome problems that may arise and therefore being able to act effectively. A great attention to detail across all stages and aspects of the project, including planning & time management making sure things are completed within the set time frame, while being completed compliantly. You will need to be proficient in the use of Microsoft project. You will need to be flexible and be prepared to travel to the UK 3 days a week.
