Shire Healthcare are recruiting for an Educational *Psychologist* to join an educational setting in Worcestershire.
*Role snapshot:*
The candidate appointed will work within an MDT and provide *psychological assessments* to children in a school setting. They will develop individualised support, providing *direct *and *indirect *therapy. The post holder will also train other professionals within the service.
The successful candidate will have a positive / flexible approach, and acknowledge the importance of *collaboration *with families, colleagues, clinicians and the students themselves.
*Contract type* – Permanent
*Hours* – 1-3 days per week
*Salary* - £50,000 - £65,000 FTE
*Experience required:*
Psychologists applying will have *HCPC* registration as an Educational Psychologist along with a minimum of *2 years* experience working with children and young people. An understanding of *masking *and school-related *trauma *is essential.
