Job Title: Senior Systems and Software Engineering (Development)

What you’ll be doing:
Working within a small Team to:
- Develop system requirements and refine them using modelling and simulation
- Produce models of the system design compatible with the downstream software generation process
- Test and assess the models of the design against the requirements, and produce the associated documentation evidence
- Create supporting behavioural models of interfacing systems, submarine dynamics and operating environment to aid in validation of the system requirements
- Liaise with stakeholders both internal and external to the wider AVC Team, including the Customer and operators
- Manage tasks and report progress for your work in line with the AVC Agile System of Work
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
- Knowledge of MATLAB and Simulink toolset
- Requirements development and analysis
- Model Based Design and Systems Engineering approaches
Desirable:
- Experience working with submarines or aerospace, automotive industries
- Knowledge of vehicle control
