We currently have a requirement for an experienced CAD engineer to join a well-established company based in the Dudley area.
It is essential that the ideal candidate has knowledge and working experience dealing with large scale commercial installations.
Responsibilities:
- Producing Solid works / AutoCAD fabrication drawings and general arrangements drawings for client approval and compiling production / manufacturing instructions / bill of materials.
- Working to the Technical Department process and procedures as part of Quality Management System.
- Assisting with client requests to detail pipework systems.
- Collaborating with colleagues such as Technical Director, Purchasing Manager and Production Controller on pipework detailing and delivery scheduling.
- Decision making on best detailing practice for client requests.
- Liaising with clients to understand their goals and offering technical solutions to achieve them.
- Checking product detailing for quality and performance according to standards and client specifications.
- Ensuring product designs submitted by client are safe and confirm to any relevant legislation or industry regulations.
