Philip Hardy Recruitment are searching for an *IT Engineer *to join our client, a well renowned *IT recycling company *within the *Kidderminster area*.

You’ll use *your proven previous experience *as an *IT Engineer* to be responsible for new IT installations, decommissions and office clearances and collections of redundant IT equipment.
The successful candidate will need to be responsive to customers’ needs, a good communicator, totally reliable, flexible and a team player.
This role *will require a lot of travelling* to complete work at customers’ sites around the UK, sometimes requiring overnight stays up to a week at a time.
The candidate will also need to be *aged 21 or over* (for insurance purposes) and a *competent driver* with a full UK driver’s licence, as you will at times need to drive a 3.5-tonne van to customer sites.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Responsible for installation to desk.
* Ability to communicate with customers regarding newly installed items (hardware).
* Responsible for the decommissioning of redundant equipment and furniture.
* Responsible for the disposal of customers’ items and adhering to safety procedures with regards to packing the items and transporting back to base.
* Cable management.
* Fault finding and simple fixes (resolving network issues and any hardware or possible software issues).
* PC/Laptop builds (hardware and possible software).
* Ensuring that agreed Company sales targets are met monthly.
* Ability to travel to customer sites throughout the UK and Internationally, with overnight stays.
*You will need:*
* Strong IT knowledge, intermediate level MS Excel is desirable.
* A good knowledge of computers and their components is a bonus.
* Experience of working independently and as part of a team to achieve results.
* Flexible approach and hold a full UK Driving Licence.
* Polite and courteous manner representing the company.
* Great communication skills.
* Able to manage own time effectively.
