Our client, a prestigious turnkey engineering solutions company, focuses on steel fabrication for the Oil & Gas/Off-Shore/Subsea sector, seeks to employ a Project Engineer , specifically with experience in subsea drilling equipment, to join their dynamic and progressive technical operations and projects team.
Please note this is NOT a management role , rather geared toward candidates at a mid-level engineering career level, specifically with a background in fabrication and engineering solutions for the mining, renewable energy, marine and oil & gas sectors.
KEY REQUIREMENTS TO MEET FOR CONSIDERATION:
- You must be able to work independently and accurately keep records and be proactive in your approach to ensuring the profitability of the company.
- You will have completed a B-Tech or B Eng in Mechanical Engineering, coupled with 3-5 years’ experience as a Project Engineer in the subsea and subsea structural project engineering.
- You will have a solid understanding of high-pressure piping, welding/NDT processes and structural fabrication projects.
- You will have a proven track record in coordination of projects from quotation to installation, ensuring safety of all stakeholders, client satisfaction, quality of work within the time and budget.
- You will have demonstrated expert organisational and problem-solving skills, be able to communicate effectively and take ownership of projects to finalization.
- You will be flexible to travel extensively when required.
- You must have contactable references, a valid driver’s licence, own car and a clear criminal and credit record.
