- You design, implement, and test new features for our customer-facing software, including our portal and mobile app, enhancing the user experience for pet owners
- You develop and improve our internal software for veterinary staff, streamlining workflows and increasing efficiency in veterinary practices
- You conduct code reviews, provide regular feedback to other developers, and collaborate on product decisions
- You work around limitations, finding innovative solutions to complex problems, and implement aesthetically pleasing, user-centric interfaces that align with our brand
- You work closely with a small, highly collaborative team of senior engineers and an experienced technical product manager
- You drive projects from idea to completion without requiring a step-by-step guide
- You have strong experience working with TypeScript, React, and Node.js, equivalent to about 5 years
- You know how to effectively use TypeScript and are comfortable with its nuances, and are experienced with React, understanding common pitfalls and best practices
- You are comfortable with databases, backend principles, and general software architecture patterns
- You have experience with Next.js, Tailwind CSS, TRPC, Postgres, and React Native, which is a plus but not required
- You have an interest in digitizing processes to improve efficiency and user experiences, and care about the product, being proactive in contributing ideas
- You are comfortable with a remote work environment, thrive in a team that values active collaboration, and enjoy collaborating across teams, including non-engineers
