Primary purpose of the job: Providing proper patient care as per GPP (Good Pharmacy Practice) regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Chemo mixing experience
- Available for overtime and emergencies as requested with relevant remuneration
- Assist with arranging locum when on leave or sick leave
- Receiving and monitoring stock received against booking lists
- Helping with review and order of booking list
- Monitoring, selecting, and charging of consumables used per patient
- Stock management and control
- Replenishing consignment stock orders
- Return and credit of medication
- Working according to GPP and Medipost standards
- Assisting with training and general patient wellness at Netcare practice
- Adhering to OHS requirements
- Adhering to twice-yearly medical surveillance requirements
- Adhering to Medipost and relevant Netcare SOP’s
- Adhering to ISO standards for auditing purposes
- Well-spoken with great communication skills
- Participation in unit/Netcare quality projects
- Chemo-specific compounding guidelines ad hoc for pharmacist with relevant SOP/Policy
Minimum Qualifications:
- Grade 12
- Minimum 2 years as a pharmacist, including internship and community service
Training Required:
- Medipost APP system training
- SLA training
- Company policies and procedures
- Computer literacy
- MHRS online authorization system
- ESS
