Introduction
We currently have an opportunity for a Supply Chain Analyst based in Cape Town.
Purpose of the position:
Analyze data and methods to predict and improve the company's delivery of products and services to its customer. To improve the efficiency of supply chain operations through data collection and analysis. The position requires excellent attention to detail, in-depth understanding of the delivery process and exceptional analytics skills. Interpersonal and problem-solving skills are also required to gather information from different departments to recommend ways of improving the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect data on supply chain operations.
- Analyze data to identify areas of supply chain operations to improve efficiency.
- Develop and execute projects to enhance supply chain operations.
- Establish and maintain relationships with customers – internal and external.
- Measure supply chain performance and report to management.
- KPI reporting.
- Work with various stakeholders in the channel to enhance service delivery.
- Provide customers with the relevant reports, information and decision support to assist in optimizing their operations and to identify, test and implement cost saving initiatives (route planning & transport related).
- Approximately 3 years’ experience in a similar position.
- Able to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications:
- B Eng Industrial or B Com Logistics/Supply Chain
- Excellent elocution in English and presentation capabilities
- MS Office (Excel – Intermediate/Advanced, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Data Analysis capabilities in SQL environment
- Financial Acumen and High aptitude for research and investigation with good attention to detail
- Project Management Experience
