Principal people are delighted to be recruiting for a Health and Safety Advisor to join a specialist Utilities and Civil Engineering organisation who have a varied and diverse portfolio of projects.
The client we are working with can provide an excellent level of training and development to a self-motivated Health and Safety professional with a desire to progress.
This growing business who hold an excellent pipeline of projects and contracts located across London and the Home counties, are seeking an additional Health and Safety Advisor to join their existing and experienced team.
A hands-on and operationally focused position, this autonomous and self-managed Health and Safety Advisor position will visit sites and local offices predominantly across North London and East London
The key responsibilities of the Health and Safety Advisor: - Provide Health and Safety guidance across multiple sites.
- Conduct Health and Safety audits and inspections.
- Support the Health and Safety Manager.
- Undertake incident investigations and implement preventative measures to avoid similar incidents repeating.
- Drive a positive Health and Safety culture throughout the wider business.
- Engage and work closely with all areas of the organisation
The Successful Health and Safety Advisor will hold: - NEBOSH General or NEBOSH Construction certificate or equivalent.
- Experience within Utilities, Telecommunications, Construction, Civil Engineering, Highways or similar
Remuneration and benefits: - A basic salary of £45,000 - £55,000.
- Company car (Hybrid options) or Car allowance
- 28 days plus Bank holiday.
- Pension Scheme.
- Plus additional benefits.
