Bookkeeper Job Description Duties and Responsibilities: Capturing data such as invoices Preparing management reports Assisting Accountants and Tax Consultants with administration and management reports Compiling working paper files E-filing Handling VAT and PAYE applications Preparing VAT, CIPC, and Tax Clearance Certificates Managing queries Handling Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Performing bank reconciliations, journal entries, and reports Assisting with payroll and general administrative tasks Providing excellent customer service with high work standards At least 2 years of bookkeeping experience (preferred) Matric certificate Certificate or diploma in bookkeeping/accounting, or currently studying towards one Relevant tertiary qualifications (preferred) Basic accounting knowledge Experience with accounting software such as Sage or QuickBooks (preferred) Proficiency in Excel Comfortable with technology and computers Detail-oriented and organised Solution-driven mindset Good time management skills Eager to learn and grow professionally A team player Drivers license and own vehicle required
