Chef Manager, B&I NE27 Newcastle, 40k
This busy site provides a catering service for staff and hospitality as well as a Starbucks coffee bar. All food is freshly prepared and menus based on modern trends and concepts.
As the Chef Manager, you will
Be fully responsible for the running of the catering operation
Lead and manage a team of 4 as well as be hands on
Produce fresh modern food for both staff dining and hospitality requirements
Oversee the Starbucks coffee
Be client facing - building and maintaining a good working relationship with the client as well as customers
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 7am - 3.30/4pm, 40 hours per week
Our ideal candidate would be
An existing Chef Manager or Head Chef looking to step up
Experienced within B&I or contract catering
Able to lead and manage a team as well as hands on
Strong in communication skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships
Client facing with a strong presence
Financially aware
Attentive to detail and presentation
Adaptable, flexible with a positive attitude
