- National Diploma in Information Technology or equivalent certification, along with A+, N+, and Microsoft Certifications
- 5–10 years of IT Management experience and a minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in computer hardware, software, networks (installation and administration), troubleshooting, and security protocols
- Proficiency in managing Microsoft Windows and Server Operating Systems, Active Directory, Terminal Services, IIS, Web Services, and email/internet programs
- Expertise in database management, including structure, data access, and extraction, with experience in Sage 300 (Accpac) and Sage CRM (front-end and back-end)
- Skills in SSRS Report Writing, WMS (Warehouse Management System) integration, API integration, and basic debugging with Java or Angular JS
- Strong leadership and supervisory capabilities, with proven experience in team building and effective decision-making
- Advanced communication skills, both verbal and written, coupled with solid presentation and listening abilities
- Excellent time management, organizational, and stress-handling skills, ensuring efficiency in a high-pressure environment
- Demonstrates honesty, trustworthiness, respectfulness, and cultural sensitivity while maintaining flexibility to adapt to dynamic business needs
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee and evaluate information systems, electronic data processing, and telecommunications systems
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for data processing, system operations, and user access
- Plan, manage, and control IT budgets and expenditures
- Hire, supervise, and manage IT personnel and contractors for systems design, development, and administration
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network communication issues
- Stay updated on hardware, software, and system functionality to ensure optimal operations
- Manage network access, user accounts, and system security, including enforcing password protocols and managing firewalls
- Provide training and support to users on technology systems, including one-on-one assistance as needed
- Maintain accurate inventory records for hardware, software, and resources
- Ensure proper configuration, functionality, and maintenance of backup solutions to prevent data loss
- Implement and test disaster recovery plans regularly to ensure data integrity
- Oversee the management of essential company software, including CRM and ERP systems such as Sage 300 (Accpac) and Sage CRM
- Coordinate communication between developers, project managers, and end users for efficient system functionality
- Provide first-line support, escalate complex issues to developers, and ensure test, development, and live environments are accessible
- Manage workstations, hardware installations, updates, and software functionality
- Monitor and recommend improvements for the company’s information and communication technologies
- Perform regular backups, particularly before major updates or changes, and log repairs and maintenance needs
- Make recommendations for sourcing and purchasing new technology resources
- Perform additional IT-related duties as required
