Our B2B and B2C eCommerce solution integrates various accounting/ERP packages such as SAP, SYSPRO and Sage to eCommerce channels such as WooCommerce, Shopify and Magento, as well as marketplaces including Takealot and Amazon. We also have our own B2B trade store. Our online SaaS solution helps clients sync inventory and orders.
The role
Our rapidly growing business seeks an experienced and motivated Growth Marketing Manager to help us design, implement and scale marketing strategies at Stock2Shop. This is an opportunity to help define and execute on core company growth strategies.
The Growth Marketing Manager, working closely with the CEO, will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to drive user acquisition, engagement and retention for our business. This role requires a good understanding of the eCommerce and B2B SaaS market. The ideal candidate must have a proven track record of marketing-led growth in an eCommerce or B2B SaaS environment.
You will be responsible for a marketing plan that will enable both sales and revenue growth in South Africa and internationally. Key overseas markets include the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and UAE.
This is a newly created role and you will be expected to think strategically while also being able to execute on your ideas. As the Growth Marketing Manager, you will play a key role in the company’s growth initiatives. You will take complete ownership of marketing, and will be responsible and accountable for ensuring the marketing plan is executed, effective and delivers against KPIs.

You will report to the CEO. Other key stakeholders are the Sales Manager and the Sales Team.
Key responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the CEO and Sales Manager to define our marketing plan.
- Take ownership and execute on the marketing plan.
- Monitor the effectiveness of marketing efforts to deliver against agreed KPIs/metrics.
- Drive strategies that position the Stock2Shop brand and amplify the brand’s organic presence to engage an audience and drive organic leads, leveraging both organic and paid strategies for measurable outcomes.
- Oversee the marketing funnel: create, edit, and/or curate content, ads, landing pages, and email.
- Own the company blog, marketing site, SEO audits, content calendar, HubSpot, PPC, email and social media, as appropriate.
- Work with various stakeholders to ensure the company’s website remains updated and optimised for search engines, while also coordinating with the technical team for any necessary enhancements.
- Identify new marketing opportunities and experiment to see which ones improve key metrics.
- Utilise tools such as HubSpot (CRM) and Google Analytics to monitor key performance indicators.
- Create or manage ad hoc video content for testimonials, product demos and promotions.
- Collaborate with industry partners on co-marketing opportunities (webinars, guest posts, podcasts, etc).
- Provide market insight through staying abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge and refine marketing strategies accordingly.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the Stock2Shop customer and manage client feedback (through surveys and engaging directly) to improve client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with internal product teams and provide feedback from the marketplace to help shape future development.
Your Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 8-10 years proven experience in a similar marketing role, ideally in a B2B software technology company or eCommerce business sales with an emphasis on B2B marketing.
- Proven track record of supporting customer acquisition, engagement and retention.
- Strong track record of consistently meeting or exceeding targets (e.g. lead generation) and supporting revenue growth.
- Experience in inbound and outbound marketing and prospecting in general.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and experience with content marketing.
- Proficiency in paid advertising platforms such as Google Ads and the Google Suite of reporting tools, as well as social media such as Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.
- Passion, drive and the desire to be a part of a growing team that makes a difference for both the company and our clients.
- Exceptional in-person, verbal and written communication skills is a must.
- Ability to work collaboratively in an entrepreneurial work environment where self-motivated individuals succeed.
- Ability to think strategically, with an understanding of eCommerce and the SaaS B2B sales cycle.
- A good understanding or working knowledge of ERP systems and/or eCommerce would be an advantage.
- Experience with marketing automation tools, CRM systems (e.g. HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.), and analytics platforms (e.g. Google).
- Experience in working across international markets and selling to clients overseas would also be an advantage.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business/commerce, marketing or related field.
