We are looking for an experienced and deadline-driven Junior Bookkeeper to support a busy finance team with bookkeeping and administrative duties.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Debtors
- Generate pro-forma invoices, tax invoices, credit notes, and customer statements.
- Check sub-contractor and employee expense claims and compile recharge invoices.
- Allocate deposits from customers.
- Maintain customer master files and customer database.
- Reconcile customer accounts.
- Constant communication with customers and outstanding debt collection.
Creditors
- Process supplier invoices and employee expenses, controlling against company policies.
- Communicate with suppliers, sub-contractors, and employees relating to invoices and expenses.
- Maintain supplier master files and supplier database.
- Sort, file, and scan supplier documentation and keep the electronic filing system.
Administration
- Support with administrative duties.
- Assist with travel arrangements – booking accommodation and car rentals.
- Answer the telephone.
Desired Qualification, Experience, and Skills:
- Recognised tertiary bookkeeping qualification is a minimum.
- At least 5 years of proven hands-on working experience in a finance department in a corporate company in a bookkeeping role.
- Service industry experience is an advantage.
- Advanced MS Excel, Word, Outlook, MS Teams, and Microsoft Office 365 skills.
- Computer Literacy with working experience on accounting software like Sage.
- Previous working experience in the services industry in Certification and Inspection is an advantage (i.e., Global GAP, BRC, FSSC, Siza).
- Working understanding of VAT and accounting principles.

- Clear ITC Record. Own transport.
