- Sound computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Word, Excel & Pastel)
- Precise and accurate accounting / administration skills, as well as attention to detail
- Deadline orientated and analytical

- Sound organizational ability

MAIN JOB FUNCTIONS
- General administration and accounting duties, relating to Debtors (Accounts Receivable)
- Monthly Reconciliation of debtors’ accounts
- Collating and preparing invoicing data from CE for importing to Pastel Evolution
- Preparing and circulating monthly Invoicing and statements
- Monthly collections of monies due
- Liaising with debtors and following up on queries
- Capturing of cash books
- Following up on overdue accounts and adhering to set standards
- Downloading / Preparation of invoicing / balancing from CE for importing to Pastel Evolution
- Completion of debtors age analysis and allocation of aging
- Monitoring of orders and account balances to ensure that credit limits are not exceeded, arranging interim payments, where required
- Preparation of credit applications and data reports for new trade facility applications
- General administration and filing
- Liaising with sales staff and plant staff, where required
- Assisting with ad hoc administrative tasks as required
- Assisting the Accountant and Financial Manager, where required
