Responsibilities: Sales Team Management: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of 4-8 sales representatives. Set performance targets, monitor progress, and provide guidance and coaching to maximize individual and team productivity. Conduct regular performance evaluations, identify training needs, and provide ongoing development opportunities. Key Account Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing key accounts. Identify growth opportunities within key accounts and develop strategic account plans. Regularly review sales performance, resolve customer issues, and ensure customer satisfaction. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional activities and initiatives to increase sales. New Business Development: Identify and target new business opportunities within the confectionery market. Conduct market research to identify potential clients and understand industry trends. Develop and execute sales strategies to penetrate new markets and expand customer base. Manage the entire sales process, from lead generation to deal closure. Sales Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies aligned with company objectives. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify sales opportunities and market gaps. Set ambitious sales targets and monitor progress, taking corrective actions as necessary. Prepare regular sales reports and provide accurate sales forecasts to senior management. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate closely with internal departments, including logistics and finance, to ensure efficient order fulfilment and payment processes. Communicate effectively with customers, resolving any issues or concerns promptly. Represent the company at industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events to enhance brand visibility and build relationships. Requirements: Proven experience as a sales manager in the confectionery industry or a similar FMCG environment. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain long-term customer relationships. Proven track record in achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to travel occasionally for client meetings and industry events.
