Mouton Citrus , a leading citrus producer, packer, and exporter located in the Citrusdal (Western Cape) , has an opportunity for a dynamic Commercial Manager to join their Marketing team. The ideal candidate has strong negotiation skills, an analytical mindset, and the ability to collaborate and communicate at all levels. The successful candidate will lead the sales team to build lasting relationships with global clients. This role is pivotal in driving growth and ensuring Mouton Citrus remains the preferred supplier to global retailers and select target markets within the global citrus industry. Key responsibilities include: Develop & execute the annual sales plan, optimising product placement, pricing and service delivery Lead and inspire the commercial team to achieve targets Build & maintain strong relationships with key international clients and retailers Cross-functional collaboration with internal teams to drive efficiency, customer service, and optimal results Maintain strong connections with logistics providers, producers and suppliers Budgeting and reporting Identify industry trends and customer needs, and translate to actionable insights for the team All other tasks related to the role. Essential qualifications, skills, and experience: Relevant tertiary qualification; 5-8 years experience in a commercial or sales leadership role, preferably in fresh produce, agriculture or export industries; Strong knowledge of the global citrus market, retail dynamics and export logistics; Excellent computer proficiency; Fully bilingual (Afrikaans & English); Valid driver's license and own transport; Willingness to travel internationally as required.
