Duties: Record daily financial transactions in appropriate journals and ensure accuracy. Reconcile bank statements with the companys books, resolving any discrepancies. Maintain and update the cashbook, ensuring accurate recording of receipts and payments. Maintain the fixed asset register, including acquisitions, disposals, and depreciation. Calculate, record, and submit VAT returns, ensuring compliance with tax regulations. Manage and record foreign currency transactions, including exchange rate adjustments. Prepare financial reports and assist in the preparation of financial statements. Ensure the accuracy of general ledger accounts and assist with month-end and year-end close. Implement internal controls and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Qualifications & Experience: Completed BCom Degree. 3-5 years of solid commercial accounting experience.
