Job Overview:
The Finance Intern will support the Finance Department by performing various accounting and financial tasks. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in finance and accounting within the hospitality industry.
Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting:
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports.
- Support the team in compiling and analyzing financial statements.
Accounts Payable & Receivable:
- Help with the processing of invoices and payments.
- Assist in managing accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments.
Data Entry:
- Enter financial data into accounting software accurately and timely.
- Maintain and update financial records and documents.
Reconciliation:
- Assist in reconciling bank statements and financial transactions.
- Help ensure all accounts are balanced and discrepancies are investigated.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
- Support the team in preparing budgets and forecasts.
Compliance:
- Help ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and accounting standards.
Administrative Support:
- Provide general administrative support to the Finance Department.
- Assist in the preparation of financial presentations and reports.

EXPERIENCE
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Previous internship or related experience in finance or accounting is advantageous but not required.
Skills:
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Basic knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
