Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Serve as a key member of the Exco, aligning financial goals with overall business strategy
Present financial performance, forecasts, KPIs, and the 12-month Solvency and Liquidity Report ("S&L") to the Exco and Board
Oversee the consolidation of financial results across subsidiaries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IFRS for SMEs
Manage consolidation, identify discrepancies, and ensure timely corrective actions
Oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and HR functions for accuracy and compliance
Coordinate with subsidiary Financial Managers for timely financial data submission (e.g., QPE and management packs)
Manage the annual audit process with external auditors to ensure compliance and transparency
Finalize and circulate the holding company and subsidiary AFS and Report to Management for Board approval
Maintain relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and bankers
Ensure timely submission of ITR14 to SARS and resolve any audit queries
Monitor compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and Delegated Authority Levels (DAL)
Oversee financial risk management, especially in credit, currency, and fluctuations
Present and monitor the Group's budget, providing variance analysis and strategic adjustments
Analyze manufacturing financial performance, identify trends, and guide cost-saving initiatives
Support the implementation of lean financial practices and process improvements
Manage the Group's treasury, ensuring effective cash flow management and capital structure
Conduct due diligence on potential investments, mergers, and acquisitions
Report annually to SARB on FDI, royalty payments, and intermediary services from SA to UAE
Skills & Experience:
Minimum 5 Years experience after articles
Minimum 3 years of experience in management
Experience on EXCO level
Manufacturing experience
Qualification:
Finance Degree
CIMA designation Non-negotiable
