This role involves developing and continuously managing competitive risk cover products such as life insurance, health insurance, disability cover, critical illness, and credit life. The goal is to meet specific client needs and enhance value proposition across different market segments.
You will be tasked with the following:
- Overseeing all aspects of product development and client experience across various sales channels to ensure that the products remain profitable and aligned with the changing market landscape.
- Examine product and client data from multiple sources to identify any potential irregularities in product experiences, ensuring the accuracy of insights and analysis.
- Assess competitor products and international market trends to offer insights for creating and sustaining competitive end-to-end solutions.
- Conduct experience investigations, modeling, and data analysis to design, price solutions, and monitor the performance of existing products.
- Create product health reports and present findings on product profitability and insights from analyses to support decision-making and guide appropriate actions.
- Offer expert advice on technical and actuarial product matters to clients and stakeholders.
- Develop and sustain collaborative relationships with various internal and external stakeholders, including colleagues in solutions, IT, sales and distribution, legal, servicing, and valuations.
- Engage in fostering a culture that promotes collaboration, encourages innovation, facilitates feedback, and delivers exceptional client service.
- Exhibit outstanding leadership by showing personal commitment, involvement, and dedication to upholding the organizations values.
What You Will Need: - Bachelors Degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
- Fully qualified Actuary (FASSA, FIA, or equivalent)
- Expertise in actuarial modeling, product pricing, and statistical analysis techniques
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a product owner or manager role
