The suitable candidates main responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to, the following: â¯

Managing and Investigation of crime incidentsâ¯
Handling of informers and intelligenceâ¯
Management of Informer Rewardsâ¯
Ensure that court procedures are fulfilledâ¯
Liaise with HR department concerning disciplinary enquiries to ensure fulfillment thereofâ¯
Liaise with client/SAPS/ Court officialsâ¯
Handling of Au Exhibit safeâ¯
Inspection of dockets according to brought forward systemâ¯
Training of co-workers in the investigation of crime and handling of informersâ¯

The suitable candidate shall have the following qualifications/attributes/skills: â¯

Matricâ¯+ NQF 6 Qualification Forensic Investigation / ACFE
Drivers licenseâ¯
Computer literacy (MS Excel) and Word.â¯
Minimum of 3 years experience in investigatingâ¯incidents (criminal as well as departmental)â¯
SAPS, Defence force, and NIA experience will be an advantage.â¯
Firearm competency.â¯
Own transport reliable and economicalâ¯
Have excellent presentation, written, verbal communication and report writing skills.
PSIRA Gradingâ¯â¯
Strong interpersonal skills, professionalism to liaise with clients.â¯
Ability to work under pressure to meet targets.â¯â¯
Work independently.â¯
A fair deal of patience.â¯
Meet deadlines.â¯
Go the extra mile.â¯
Good organizer.â¯â¯â¯
Haveâ¯3-yearâ¯experience in the investigation of crime with the SAPS or other institute.â¯â¯
Security knowledge an advantage.â¯
