Minimum Requirements: - Qualifications: CA(SA) or CIMA preferred; completed BCom Degree in Accounting, Financial Management, or Business Informatics.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in an accounting role, ideally within the IT or Telecoms industry.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in a computerized accounting system and Microsoft Excel.
- Working knowledge of SQL or similar database language preferred.
- Strong skills or interest in analytics, automation tools, and artificial intelligence.

Key Responsibilities: - Financial Reporting:
- Oversee the full reporting function for the fibre connectivity product line, including creditor billing reconciliation, dispute resolution, and margin management.
- Analyze and report on the financial impact of pricing changes and promotions.
- Accounts Receivable & Payable:
- Support debtors with payment queries and allocations.
- Guide the creditors team on account queries, billing disputes, and payment schedule reviews, ensuring compliance with controls.
- Bank & Cash Management:
- Upload bank statements and allocate cashbook transactions.
- Reconcile bank accounts and maintain beneficiary records.
- Fixed Assets Management:
- Assist with fixed asset additions, disposals, depreciation schedules, and ledger reconciliations.
- Reconciliations & Month-End Reporting:
- Prepare stock and general ledger reconciliations, month-end adjustments, and oversee the assistant accountants work.
- Prepare consolidated monthly management accounts.
- Audits & Projects:
- Lead and assist with audit-related tasks and ad hoc accounting projects as needed.
