Job Description
Lead and provide technical guidance to the maintenance team, ensuring that repairs are fast-tracked and executed efficiently. You will be responsible for:
- Equipment uptime and reliability (OEE)
- Building of new process specific equipment
- Adherence to the preventive maintenance schedule
- Reduction in maintenance costs and equipment downtime
- Compliance with safety and regulatory standards
- Efficiency in spare parts management and procurement
Qualifications
Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering, OR Trade Qualification such as Millwright / Electrician / Fitter with relevant experience.
Skills
7-10 years' experience in maintenance management within a manufacturing environment, with at least 5 years in a steel fabrication or related industry. Proven experience in managing a team of maintenance professionals (multi-skilled). Strong knowledge of maintenance management systems and tools, such as CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems). In-depth understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and fabrication machinery. Experience with equipment such as CNC machines, welding equipment, furnaces, cranes, and hoists used in steel fabrication.
