Our Client is a seasoned industry leader, specializing in General Plant Maintenance, Construction, and Engineering. We require the professional skills of a Junior Quantity Estimator / Surveyor to join their team on a temporary basis and situated in Merebank, KZN.
Experience in the following:
- Prepare and Analyze costing for tenders, negotiating to ensure budgets are not exceeded.
- Ability to read building plans and drawings.
- Pricing of all BOQ’s.
- Compilation and monitoring of project allowances.
- Measuring on site.
- Preparation and submission of tender documents and quotes.
- Attend site meetings and liaising with end users.
- Planning and organizing.
- Presenting and communicating information.
Candidate Minimum Requirements and Skills:
- Grade 12.
- Proven experience between 3-5 years.
- Qualification in Quantity Surveying.
- Computer literate (MS Excel/Word/Outlook/MS Projects).
- Well-developed English language skills (speak, read and write).
- Pro-activity.
- Confidence and decisiveness.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Driver’s license.
