Minimum Requirements:
- Completed apprenticeship or diploma in Electrical/Instrumentation Technology.
- Certified Electrician or Instrumentation Technician.
- Understanding production environment and working to targets and efficiencies.
- Proficient in electrical and instrumentation troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of safety protocols (e.g., Lockout/Tagout, Arc Flash).
- Familiarity with industry standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Electrical:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems (up to 600V).
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other testing equipment.
- Perform electrical safety inspections and maintenance.
- Wire and connect electrical devices, motors, and control panels.
Instrumentation:
- Install, calibrate, and maintain instrumentation devices (e.g., pressure, temperature, flow, level transmitters).
- Troubleshoot instrumentation issues using specialized tools and software.
- Configure and program instrumentation systems.
- Perform loop checks and functional testing.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret electrical and instrumentation diagrams, blueprints, and schematics.
- Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and other tradespeople.
- Develop and implement safety procedures and protocols.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Participate in plant shutdowns, maintenance, and upgrades.
