Minimum requirements:
We are looking for a finance assistant to support our financial department. The successful candidate will perform a range of administrative and accounting duties.
To be successful as a finance assistant, you should have a strong knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, good organizational skills, and working knowledge of accounting software.
Finance Assistant Requirements: - 3 Years experience in a Finance role Finance Degree or Diploma will be an advantage.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software SAP Business 1.
Finance Assistant Responsibilities: - Processing and preparing financial statements.
- Processing and paying invoices.
- Processing bank payments, transfers and bulk uploads.
- Producing financial reports and cost analysis reports
- Reconciling bank statements and data entries.
- Overseeing client accounts.
- Creating, sending, and following up on invoices.
- Collecting and reviewing data for reports.
- Reviewing and performing audits on financial statements and reports.
- Budget preparation
- Audit preparation
- Reporting discrepancies.
- Preparing payments for suppliers.
- Suggesting improvements in accuracy, efficiency, and reducing costs.
- Manage the companies lease portfolio
